Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Genesis G80 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Class II 1-1/4" Hitch Receiver. Now there's gonna be a few great reasons to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Genesis. If you want to tow a small trailer, you can put a ball mount in there. If you wanna haul some bikes to and from the trails, that's what the owner of this vehicle plans on doing. They've got 1-1/4" bike rack that they picked up off our website and they're just wanting to go bike riding, they don't want to have to try to cram 'em in the back seat or in the trunk or if they've even tried to take 'em, they may not be able to even take 'em anywhere. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Genesis G80- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Genesis G80. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Genesis and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see a good portion of the hitch underneath the vehicle but it's tucked up pretty well to where it looks pretty clean overall and it centers up pretty nicely here on our rear diffuser. So overall a pretty good look. Now this is an 1-1/4 inch receiver tube opening so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a ball mount if you plan on towing a trailer. But there are still options available that you can get to load up those accessories and all of them are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. Now the pin and clip does not come with the hitch. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Genesis GV80- Video

Hi there, Genesis owners. Today on your 2021 Genesis GV80 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Curt's Class 3, 2-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is gonna be hidden completely behind the bumper. So you're only gonna notice the receiver tube here sticking out the back. It's a class three, 2-inch by 2-inch receiver so it's gonna be great for all of your towing needs whether you're wanting to put a cargo carrier in here and get some gear out of your vehicle or take some bikes to the trail or even just get some work done. more
